We are a limited liability company based in the silicon valley in California, USA, and serving the wireless communications, software and networking community around the world.

EXPERIENCE

Over the past 12 years, in various employments, our president, Dr. Wong, has provided the following types of technology consulting services:

1. Technology survey and assessments on a range of topics, including broadband wireless access, Internet security and QoS, mobility management, for telecommunications companies and other companies, and research organizations, in the US and Taiwan.
2. Technical assessment of technology project funding proposals, contributing to funding decisions.
3. Leadership and management of competitively funded research projects

Dr. Wong has offered tutorials and short courses to students from industry, academia and government and from around the world. The short courses have been about wireless network architectures and evolution of wireless networks, mobility management and mobility protocols for wireless networks, and broad surveys of wireless technologies. Students have come from organizations as diverse as the European Patent Office, the government of the Bahamas, Nasa, Agilent, AT&T, Harris, HP, Honeywell, Hughes, KDDI, Lockheed Martin, Lucent, Merl, Mitre, Motorola, NEC, Opnet, SBC, Sony, etc., and universities in the US, Europe and Asia.

BIOGRAPHICAL DATA

Dr. Kuok-Shoong Daniel Wong has a wide range of experience in research, consulting and teaching in wireless communications and networking, having worked in both industry and academia. He has volunteered extensively in community service activities, especially in IEEE, where he is on the editorial board of IEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials, and he helped create the WCET certification program as a member of the wireless communications Practice Analysis Task Force.

Dr. Wong is the author of Wireless Internet Telecommunications (Artech House, 2005) and over 70 research papers in wireless communications and networking. He has received The Outstanding Young Malaysian (TOYM) award (for Science and Technology Development, 2007), Telcordia Technologies CEO Award (2002), and the G. David Forney, Jr. Prize (Princeton University, 1992).

Dr. Wong has the following electrical engineering degrees: a BSE (Highest Honors, Phi Beta Kappa, Sigma Xi, Tau Beta Pi) from Princeton University, and M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Stanford University.
